What is a Course Sequence Tutor?

The VTS Course Sequence Tutor is a web-based performance support tool to help guide VTS students and assist VTS Faculty in exploring possible curriculum paths that provide individual choice and flexibility in selecting the right combination of required and optional VTS courses. 

How will this Course Sequence Tutor Help Me?

The VTS Course Sequence Tutor helps customize your intellectual pursuits at the VTS. The tutor displays available courses and course descriptions in chronological order by Quarter, Term and Year for your perusal and consideration. The ability to compile your selections and print the results makes the tutor an excellent resource when discussing course options with your advisor and registering for classes. 

How do I use the Tutor?

The VTS Course Sequence Tutor has the course listed on the left side segregated by Year, Quarter and Term. A description for each course can be viewed by selecting the description link located next to each course title. The advisory notes, located below, provide information and strategies that you should consider when planning which courses to take and the order in which to take them. Once you have read the course description and advisor notes, you can select the courses you wish to take by clicking on the course title. The Tutor will then add that course to the Schedule List on the right side of the Tutor display. If you change your mind, simply click the course title again to remove it from the Schedule List. The Schedule List can then be printed for your convenience and used as a reference when discussing your selections with your advisor and when registering for those courses.
